Should you decide to open up a business on one of Hapes open planets, you will
have the full support of the Hapan Government. Not only will you be included
in the safety of non-aggression treaties, but will have full support.
For nationlised companies Hapes offers funding if needed, a neutral platform
to operate from, military protection and land to build on. Being included in
the main non-agression treaties with other groups and many other benefits await
you.

If you are a Hapan business, this would mean you built your company up on
a Hapan planet ( Not just an offshore company or an embassy) then you also apply
to Hapes treaties with other factions. Hostile actions towards you or a vessel
of yours, would concern the Hapes Consortium. Not to forget, you too must work
for these rules. Thus meaning you may also not engage in hostile actions. Should
you do this, you would endanger the Hapes Consortium and yourselves, as in the
worst case it may result in you being rejected from the Hapan government or
a full scale war. Never forget this. Of course, you can always obtain a copy
of such treaties from the King.
IF you established a representation for
your company on a Hapan planet, an embassy or an "offshore" company
that company/building will be considered under Hapan protection. Should your
company somehow become involved in a war, or other hostile actions and a faction
should declare war or revenge against you or your company you can be sure that
all buildings in the Hapes Consortium will be protected by all means. No enemy
vessels, nor individuals that might threaten the existence of your company or
yourself will be allowed to enter Hapan space. Should they then engage in a
hostile act, it can/would only result in a fully armed Hapan Military strike.
Your company's political view in Hapes is more than most planetary governments
can offer. You, or a representative of your company will be given a place in
the Royal League of Commerce, from here he can speak on behalf of the company's
interests. He will be included in all and any votes that may concern him and
his business. Direct contact with the King of course, is also more than possible.
