Hapes Pulsar Battle Cruiser (Historical Information)
The << HRS Pride RF 01 >> – Pulsar class Battle Cruiser, was built in the Charu
Shipyards and is the result of a three year project. It’s design and interior
architecture has Hapan R&D written all over it however the weaponry was a joint
project with imperial scientists. The ship was funded to ¾ by the Hapan government,
the other quarter remains secret until this day. Rumours have it that the blue
prints for latest imperial and rebel turbo laser technology came from no other
than James’ previous commanding officer, Gorn Veynom, in the Galactic Empire.
The ship carries a standard crew of 1500 members with room for an 2500 troops.
With a length of 1300 meters, a weight capacity of 30 000 tons and a volume
capacity of 450 000m3 the ship is the largest in the Hapes Consortium. She flies
with the Phoenix Fleet, which has the dedicated task of protecting his majesty
King
James. Rather than the harsh military style, the interior of this ship relates
much more to that of a luxury cruiser. Designed to fly the King of Hapes to
any location he needs to be, whether to the front line of a Battle, or to a
diplomatic meeting, the ship has been designed to make him feel at home. With
an entire deck, << The Kings Deck >> (Command Deck), being converted to the
highest level of comfort one can imagine, including a swimming pool, library,
wide screen portal room for planetary observations, quarters, dining room and
a conference room.
Hapan R&D had no budget limits on this ship, it is heavily armed and can defend
itself against almost any assault. With 100 modern technology turbo lasers,
20 Heavy Lasers, 40 Ion Batteries and 10 Proton Torpedo Launchers the ship is
equipped for large scale battle. Rumours have it the ship has been upgraded
since its original fitting in year 4 (combine time).
Serving as the flagship of the Hapan People, it's truly a marksmanship of its
time.

[Year 01, Day 139] Building contract
for the 1 million ton and 17 million m³ sized military vessel placed
with Hapan Alpha Shipyards in Sion, construction number BV 509
[Year 01, Day 320] Keel laid down in Shipyard #13 at the
Alpha Shipyards
[Year 03, Day 300] Launched. Christened by his majesty
King James I
[Year 04, Day 010] First crew members come onboard
[Year 04, Day 096] Ship is placed in a higher orbit path
V-VI for a three week period where final additions are made
[Year 04, Day 120] Leaves higher orbit
[Year 04, Day 125] Undergoes an inclining test. In the
“empty ship as completed condition” at 42,500 tons
[Year 04, Day 156] At 1230 Hapan time, the ship is officially
commissioned at the Sion Alpha Shipyard #13 under Phoenix High Guard Sean
Tomsfeld. The RHN flag is "hoisted" and the ship put into service
with the Phoenix Fleet
