The worlds of the Arxian system, along with the Draconian communities on Schoibato and the House Tylger owned city districts of Lorell Prime rejoiced yesterday as the noble family of Arxian sponsored a public holiday for all inhabitants in honour of Tara Tylger’s 23rd birthday. Free wine, food and entertainment was offered to all who wished to participate in the blatant display and promotion of cult of personality. On this occasion it was as if time had been set back seventy years and one was witnessing a Draconian national holiday during the Dark Age. The red, black and white banners of House Tylger were flowing gently in the wind next to the modern gold and blue banners of the Hapes Consortium. The Draconian royal guard showed off new Centurion Arms weaponry in a massive military parade on the streets of the capital city, Datania. A ball was hosted in the old Draconian royal palace, attended by many ancient Rim and Rifle Worlds noble families as well as Lord Tylger himself along with his six tëtrarchs.

In the late hours of the evening, Regent Danara Bajetix appeared on the grand balcony of the palace to address the celebrating crowds. The Vilicus was elegantly dressed in the latest Lorellion fashion as always, with a black ball dress, fur boa and extravagant jewellery. Her lengthy speech, seemingly somewhat irrelevant to the nature of the celebration, addressed issues of Hapan economy and industry, as well as culture and tradition, before giving the word to Lord Tylger. The noble was dressed in a traditional Draconian court uniform, decorated with many of the Consortium’s most distinguished awards and medals. His speech to the crowd was brief and to the point.

“Since this family’s ancestors set foot on Lorell so many centuries ago, our family has been deeply involved in the political, military and industrial affairs of the Hapes Consortium. Politics are the vocal chords and brain of a government. The military is the arm and fist. Industry…! Is the backbone. I learned this firsthand as a child, quietly observing the day to day affairs of the Draconian Union under Princess Da’tanah here in this palace. The Olanji twins were the industrial directors, but also nobility of Charu and military commanders of some of the largest fleets the Hapes Cluster had ever seen. They were a great source of inspiration to me as a young and impressionable child. Over the course of the years I have overseen numerous corporations, trying to follow the example of the twins in style of leadership. Industrial achievement as a goal, investing in a brighter future. Without industry, what is a government? StormOne Recycling was the first post-civil war corporation that my family fully nationalised with the Hapes Consortium though, and so far it has proved a worthwhile investment for both my house and Hapes.

But times have changed and I must admit that my duties with the Hapan government keep me rather busy. Governing this system, overseeing the Rim Worlds region, attending the Royal League of Commerce on behalf of StormOne Recycling and also leading the Ministry of Culture in many endeavours across the Hapes Cluster. Just attending the regular sessions of Lorell Hall has proven a challenge as a man can not be many places at once. I have therefore decided, with His Majesty’s blessing, to transfer ownership of StormOne Recycling to another. The first step towards a care-free and restful retirement.

For years I was unsure if my tëtrarchs would walk in my footsteps. I must admit, I am still unsure, but most are now on what I see as the right path. Tetrarchs Kimberly and Tyra have done an excellent job of leading StormOne, while Tyri Senona carries our her duties with skill in Tara’s Centurion Arms.

On to the birthday girl. We have had our battles and disagreements over the years, but I have come to rely on you. You are a loyal daughter, protector and advisor and therefore I entrust you with ownership of StormOne Recycling as a birthday gift. I hope StormOne Recycling will benefit your companies and also continue to benefit the Hapes Consortium for years to come. Happy birthday, my dear.”

To the applause of the crowd in the capital and a trumpet fanfare the Lord hugged his second oldest daughter before she approached the podium for a few words.

“ One of the amusing things about being one of the daughters to a Hapan Lord, is that you always wonder what surprise will arrive come your birthday. What most people don’t realise is the struggle to find something of equal worth when my father’s birthday arrives less than a month later.

I can see StormOne being a big addition to The Damned and Centurion Arms. What is even more interesting will be the ties it brings to Hapes, hopefully enabling me to visit the cluster more than I am able at this time. The most special part of this is knowing that my father and the King both trust me with this, I won’t disappoint as the company will be retaining it’s Hapan nationalisation contract and is also changing name to Endara Reclaim Industries as part of the ongoing process of Hapanisation. My sister Kimberly will remain leader of the company and will be taking over my father’s seat in the Royal League of Commerce. Thank you all for your time.”

Cheering and applauding was followed by fireworks across the nightskies of Arxian Major, Arxian Minor, Sintral, Belgor, Schoibato and Lorell.

Economic experts on Lorell are positive to the change of ownership of the company as well as the upcoming name change, predicting increase in business as the last trace of affiliation with the former Storm conglomerate disappears with the name. An official document issued by the office of Vilicus Danara Bajetix states that the upcoming goals of the company will be to increase manpower in order to expand out-of-cluster activities as well as be able to carry out missions for the Hapan government at a faster rate.
