As the commercials end, your holoscreen brings you back to the HNN Evening News program, and the lovely newsanchor, Anacia Chalcedon, appears once again. Dressed in a cream-colored blouse, she tucks a few stands of her golden-blonde hair behind her ear with a quick swipe of her fingers and glances up with that familiar smile.

“In today’s business news, the Olanji Corporation in conjunction with the Consortium’s Ministry of External Affairs conducted a press conference earlier today officially announcing two separate business deals with two of the leading corporate entities in the galactic community today. The Minister of External Affairs, Ariath Windcloud, was on hand to announce the deals. One of the deals he announced was with Haor Chall Engineering, who were contracted to manufacture and produce Hapan-designed military vehicles. The second deal announced was with the Freeholders, a surveillance and intelligence corporation to build satellites. Delegates from both corporations, as well as CEO Dortan Amethius and President Alley Trepe of Olanji Corporation were present at the Grand Plaza in front of the Royal League of Commerce Chamber Hall at Avalon, Lorell for the official press conference.

In speaking with President Trepe prior to the conference, she had the following to say regarding the deal with the Freeholders: "I'm pleased that Minister Windcloud and I were able to work out a deal with Mr. Shen-Jon. It should prove to be most beneficial for both sides of the arrangement."

Minister Windcloud was asked regarding the contract with Haor Chall Engineering, essentially a military contract, and he provided the following statement: “I wish to thank Mr. Horley Cyan for his assistance in seeing this deal come to fruition. The Consortium not only believes that this agreement will provide strength and stability in our military resources, but our hope is that a deeper business relationship with like-minded and rising corporations such as Haor Chall Engineering can be further encouraged and fostered.”

Specifics were not made readily available regarding the terms of the deals, but analysts predict that both multimillion credit contracts would position the Consortium advantageously in light of the changes within the galactic market, as well as provide both Haor Chall Engineering and the Freeholders with strong growth platforms in the Hapan Cluster.

We’ll be back with a recap of this evening’s top stories, right after this…”
