Your regular viewing is interrupted by the logo of the Hapan News Network’s special bulletin broadcast. Anacia Chalcedon stands at the News Conference Centre at Pinnacle Star, the home of the Ministry of Industry. The gleaming white towers in the background, testament to the technological and industrial might of the consortium.

“Good Morning, and welcome to Pinnacle Star where we’re awaiting a news conference, ah it’s starting”.

The camera focuses on a rostrum draped in the Hapan Flag, a Hapan male, dark haired and with handsome features enters the room with a number of aides and stands at the rostrum. Instantly recognizable as Vetra Kurov, Minister of Industry, he is smiling, but obviously strained by the rigors of office.

“Hapans, I come before you today to with an exciting announcement, for some months now, The Ministry of Industry has been working on an exciting project perhaps the first of it’s kind” A holo-display behind the Minister comes to the life with images of a city in the clouds. The Minister gestures behind him.

“Malnuir, Lorell, for the past six months, the Ministry has been building a city in the clouds; I’m pleased to say phase one of this project has been completed, but that is not it. This city is perhaps the first city to be built solely for Hapan’s to allow them to take advantage of a wide range of business opportunities. A large number of facilities ranging from residential blocks, to commercial facilities have been built and will be leased for discount prices to Hapan members. This gives our population, financial security, business opportunities, and additional income. The cities themselves have been designed by the best infrastructure planners the Ministry of Industry has, with the sole objective of making a robust, stable and highly developed economy”.

“The Hapan Government truly hopes that this gift to the people of Hapes will ensure their personal prosperity for many years to come. Thank you”.
