A message from your new Ombudsman

We will now take a short break from our regular broadcast to bring you a short message from the newly elected Ombudsman.’
The video feed fades to the crest of the Office of the Hapes Ombudsman. The crest slowly fades out after a moment and the image now seen is that of Tal Locke smiling broadly into the camera.
‘Greetings my fellow Hapans. Today I speak to you as your newly elected Ombudsman. I would first like to thank everyone who supported and followed my campaign. I will strive to prove myself worthy of this great honor you have bestowed upon me.’
‘I am here to let you know that I am a lizard of my word, and I will keep the promises made during my campaign. More information will follow in the next few days as I settle into my new duties. I also wish to remind you what my role is as Ombudsman. I serve as the voice of the people who is in contact with the High, Royal, and Military Councils. Should you have any issues you wish to bring up to these people, or if there is something that needs to be resolved, bring it to my attention and I will help solve the problem.’

The screen slowly fades from the smiling face of Tal Locke, back to the crest of the Office of the Ombudsman and then back to regular viewing.
