First off, the local leagues.

Onto the interstellar events! The annual Boonta Eve Podrace on Tatooine took place yesterday, the winner the mysterious surprise package Hakim Hross, who pulled in a mere 0.029 seconds ahead of race favourite Jearptata. Hakim collected the 5 million credit prize, and vowed to return next year.

Todays Shockball matches have been postponed until tomorrow, due to a ticketing dispute! Angry fans and sport buffs have demonstrated their annoyance by rallying outside the sport's head office, and it took several hours for security forces to disperse the crowd.

And that's all in sport Phil!

Thank you Terry!
Onto other news...
