The familiar crest of the Hapan News Network appears on screen, followed by a triumphant and upbeat version of the typical theme song, indicating a special news broadcast. As the introduction ends, Anacia Chalcedon appears on screen before a live full screen view of the Castle of Per'Agthra. The third and fourth moons of Hapes Prime are visible in the shot of the rare night sky of the Consortium's homeworld, accompanied by a massive warship blotting out the sun.

"Good evening, Hapes. This is Anacia Chalcedon, brining you the latest news of the Hapes Cluster.

We are bringing you live footage from Chume'Dan where the orbital flight of the Hapes Consortium's latest warship is casting a rare darkness over the planet's northern hemisphere which is typically, barring total eclipse, bathed in eternal light from the star and the moons.

The Super-class Star Destroyer was constructed at the Athena Star level IV shipyard array in the Charu system and launched just days ago as thousands of man-hours of labour came to fruition. Following in the wake of the Royal flagships, HRS Tini'duran and HRS Pal'durath, the new ship has been named HRS Nele'serin, paying tribute to yet another historic Royal dynasty. The naming trend has caused the crew of the Olanji Corporation to dub the ships Ta'a Chume-class Star Defenders, putting a Hapan spin on the model name.

The Fountain Palace has announced that, unlike her sister ships, the Nele'serin will enter the service of the Royal Hapan Armed Forces in a command ship capacity, and will be joined by several others in the coming year.

Commanding the mighty vessel on its maiden voyage from Charu to Hapan was Marshal Hun Leonard, leader of the Royal Hapan Support Corps and CEO of Olanji. Upon arrival above Hapes Prime, Leonard travelled by shuttle to Chume'Dan where he met with the King, Royal Council and military command staff to officially hand over access codes of the Nele'serin to Contra Admiral LeMarre. At the meeting, King Alexander promoted Leonard to Chief Marshal and Releth, and bestowed upon him the Gold Medal of Service and Gold Medal of Construction.

The Fountain Palace issued this statement regarding Leonard's advancement and awards: 'Chief Marshal Leonard is a unique jewel in the Consortium's premier Crown Corporation. He is utterly devoted to his duties and his employees, working tirelessly to see to it that materials are moved, shipyards retooled, deadlines met, and the many branches of the Consortium equipped. He has followed in the footsteps of such titans as Lord Dortan Amethius and does his job with unparalleled devotion. Olanji's operations are not forgotten here at Hapes Prime and the Consortium is in their debt for their efforts.'

We now take you live to the Palace of Defence where the King is about to make a statement."

The image shifts to a large conference room within the old Ministry of Defence where King Alexander stands behind a podium, accompanied by Princess Jessica, Contra Admiral LeMarre and Chief Marshal Leonard. Dressed in a black Royal Court uniform, the monarch begins to address his audience.

"Fellow Hapans!

The Consortium is grateful for its allies in the Galactic Empire for having provided the blueprints to some of the Galaxy's most formidable warships, and the Trade Federation, for providing us with the specifications needed to construct Lucrehulk 3210 Battleships, which we now employ in an industrial capacity.

Today the might of the Hapes Consortium has been demonstrated once again. Due to our government's position in the Galaxy, regardless of our relatively isolationist stance, the looming threat of foreign disorder and chaos is ever present. For this very reason, as has been our policy for four millennia, we must be ever prepared, ever vigilant. And such is accomplished by making sure that the great armada of the Consortium is always equipped with state of the art technology, enforces rigid discipline, and remains a visible presence in the spacelanes of the Hapes Cluster.

The Tini'duran Doctrine teaches us to rely not on the likelihood of the enemies not coming, but on our own readiness to receive our enemy; not on the chance of our enemies not attacking, but rather on the fact that we have made our position unassailable.

This mighty warship, others like it, as well as other types of support ships, will join the Battle Dragons and Nova Battle Cruisers in ensuring the Hapes Consortium holds dominion over this star cluster now and forever!"

The image fades and Chalcedon appears on screen once again.
