The introduction of the Hapan News Network begins and familiar images of the Hapes Consortium's worlds cross the screen. Finally the image settles on Anacia Chalcedon in front of the familiar backdrop of the Castle of Per'Agthra. The newsanchor looks up from her desk and nods to the camera before speaking.

“Good evening, and welcome to the Hapan Evening News.

“Tonight we bring you an update on new Ombudsman Rhydra Tunant and her first weeks in office. It was not long ago that Ombudsman-elect Tunant was given the oath of office and officially began her tenure.“

“Perhaps one of the most important projects the Ombudsman has already undertaken is a system of mentorship that is being developed to aid 1) new Government and Military recruits and 2) new citizens of the Hapes Consortium.

“Observers at this early stage have noted approvingly that the Ombudsman has jumped into her new duties with enthusiasm and energy. Still, time will tell.”
