The melody of the Hapan News Network begins as familiar images from the Consortium`s worlds flash across the screen. As the introduction comes to an end, Anacia Chalcedon appears on screen. She smiles widely before addressing the viewers

"Good day, Hapes.

The Ministry of Industry announced today the completion of the Oxbo Project in Ut. The new ecumenopolis will serve as a commercial and residential hub in close proximity to the Hapes sytem in the Interior region. The project is the first such undertaking by the Consortium since Jovaria was similarly transformed between 4034 and 4035.

We will now bring you live footage from the reception hall of the Ministry of Industry complex in Chume`Dan where Fel`da Locke is due to pay tribute to those involved."

The image cuts to a large, brightly lit chamber. Fel`da Tal Locke appears, standing behind a podium with the Ministry of Industry crest proudly displayed. Officials and representatives from both the government and Royal Hapan Armed Forces are present in the grand chamber, waiting in silence for the Barabel to begin. Locke takes a deep breath and smiles into the camera before he begins his address.

“People of Hapes, I thank you for giving me a moment of your time. I am here today as the bearer of good news. As some of you might know, the Ministry of Industry has been working tirelessly for over a year on the planet Daein in the Ut System. Codenamed Oxbo, the Ministry of Industry has been building an ecumenopolis. This project is finally complete.”

Locke pauses for a moment to allow the applause to die down.

“This is truly a great achievement for the Hapes Consortium. We have already began to see the success of the project and the benefits it shall bring us for more success in the coming years. It is a great achievement, and I want to take a moment to thank everyone involved. Many people gave up a lot of time and put in a great deal of effort, and to those people, on behalf of the Ministry of Industry and Royal Council, I say thank you.”

Locke reaches into his pocket for a list as a long line of beautiful Hapan women join the Fel`da on stage holding boxes of various sizes.

“I would now like to as the following people to come join me and accept a Letter of Industrial Achievement. Elidor BlueFlame, Lament Solar, Veran Tyde, Har Tay, Cristofer Blakmoon, Barek Eronoss, Tiberius Hayward, Tovakinpi Toshikhan, Rillik Rah, Jet Darkray, Ankthar LeMarre, Michael Oleary, Dirk Endow, Draygo Antares, Rhydra Tunant, Aliknak Nebreb, Welit Rey, Ian Stewart, Ryou Vacosa, and Lo Guaicaipuro. Please join me in thanking these people for their service of delivering the many, many loads of raw materials and workers that was required for such a large project.”

As the award recipients file of stage and the crowd applauses, Locke pulls out another list and clears his throat before continuing.

“The next group of people has been awarded the Bronze Medal of Construction. Will the following people please step forward and accept their award. Maurice Astred, Welit Rey, Lamento Solar, Cristofer Blakmoon, and Rillik Rah.”

As this group files off stage, Locke continues reading.

“These people have been awarded the Silver Medal of Construction for their hard work when leading multiple building crews. Romar Feren and Dionysos Organ, please come accept this award.”

Locke watches as the two men leave the stage before turning back to the camera with a huge toothy grin.

“The next two awards fill me with great joy. Both of these people did a tremendous job with project Oxbo. They dedicated many hours above and beyond what was asked of them. They did not complain when I kept them working late into the night or on weekends. In short, this would not have been a success without them. As such, both have been awarded the Gold Medal of Construction.

Tarix Toshikhan, my friend, please join me on stage. Not many people are aware of just how much work you put in on this project, helping complete a quarter of the planet, and for this you have been awarded the Government Service Cross.

Locke calls one of the Hapan women forward and pulls a medal from the box. He slowly places the medal around the Tarix`s neck before shaking his hand and smiling.

“Next I would like to call Har Tay forward. At the beginning of Project Oxbo, Har was a young recruit to the Ministry of Industry, but throughout the project he was constantly stepping up and proving himself to be the backbone of the project. Har showed himself to be a leader during the project and has thus been awarded the Silver Medal of Command.

However, there is more. Due to his leadership, Har Tay has been promoted to Fel`ta of Industry. He has proven to be a great member of this team and I look forward to working with him more closely in the future.

Please help me in congratulating everyone award here today!”

Locke gives the camera one last smile before leaving the stage. The camera pans the crowd of people awarded before stopping on the new Fel`ta of Industry. The image begins to fade as the HNN song slowly grows louder until all that can be seen in the HNN logo.
