Dathomir’s thriving economy continues to push the housing market to new heights as demand for single family housing soars all across the planet. Suburban housing developments seem to be popping up all over the place, and builders are struggling to keep up, with even more such neighborhoods in the works. While certainly overworked, they are also overjoyed to see that they’ve got a full season’s work already lined up.

Sociologist Thaven Moore believes that increased economic stability and consumer optimism is responsible for the steady surge in the housing market. “Dathomir is in the midst of its most prosperous era, and that prosperity is drawing a lot of people to the planet. As the population grows, these people need somewhere to live, and the booming economy provides them with the monetary resources to afford better living accommodations than ever.”

She adds that, “When people don’t have to worry about money so much, they can concentrate on settling down and starting a family, and I think that’s what we’re seeing a lot of here—young professionals feel economically secure enough to start having kids and to buy a nice little place in the suburbs. That’s a real good sign that the economy is doing well, and I think this trend will continue.”

Experts say that although the increased demand for housing may raise prices somewhat, the change is more than offset by the economic growth that is swelling the bank accounts of potential homeowners. All things considered, it is an excellent time for young middle-class families to buy a modest place of their own, and that seems to be precisely what they’re doing, in record numbers.
