The Fountain Palace has announced several appointments in the command tier of the Royal Hapan Armed Forces, in coordination with the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Defence.

Just recently a high-powered meeting was convened in the orbit of Charubah, amidst a flurry of navigational mapping activity occurring in the foremost industrial region of the Cluster. There, onboard the Executor-class Star Destroyer HRS Pal´durath, various figures of the Royal Council were in attendance alongside the Rai`ix Chume, in the role of the Grand Admiral of the combined Armed Forces, in addition to the Commander of the Chume’doro, Lionola Ayun.

During said meeting, with His Majesty, King Zayth I observing, Prime Minister Cyrus swore in Alex Tylger as the new Minister of Defence. As part of the well anticipated shuffle at the top, Xesh Randell was confirmed as the Deputy Minister of Defence, and assumes the role of the Commanding Officer of the Royal Hapan Marine Corps at the rank of Colonel. Said transitions are part of a still ongoing leadership program for the Royal Hapan Armed Forces, put to motion roughly a year ago, when Diranix Tylger was appointed as Chief of Staff and Deputy Minister of the Consortium’s armed forces.

Other new command personnel were sworn in moments after in an expanded meeting of the High Command, including new and old faces to the military senior command; Newly promoted Lieutenant Commander Taryn Zaraan was appointed as Executive Officer of the Royal Hapan Navy, a role he undertakes while still serving as the Commandant of the Star Home Academy, with an upgraded Cadet course expected to be unrolled for the Academy within the coming months. Line Captain Draygo Antares, as the Naval Commanding Officer, and acting in a supporting role to the previous Chief of Staff, is foreseen as continuing to maintain a less visible presence on the operational side within the Navy command.

Navy was not the only branch to receive a brand-new executive officer, however, as alongside Lieutenant Commander Zaraan, Second Lieutenant Caalin Wooro too swore an oath of office overseen by newly minted Minister Tylger, in his case to become the Executive Officer of the Royal Hapan Marine Corps, as the right-hand man to Randell.

With so many appointments lining up to the possibility of further promotions within the military, the news saw widespread speculation regarding the matter beginning to spread amongst officers operating out of Sivoria as part of the Task Force Red Phoenix, deployed to the region to map the local hyperlanes connecting many of the major industrial worlds of Hapes. The spokesman for the Ministry of Defence was quick to decline to comment on said topics further for the time being, however, but relayed publicly Lorell Hall’s public congratulations of the Lorell Hall to the fresh executive officer appointees:

“Both of these gentlemen are expected to serve in their roles with distinction and honour, to uphold the esprit de corps of the Royal Hapan Armed Forces, and we all couldn’t be happier to see them rise to the challenge with their new responsibilities towards their fellow officers!”

Honour, Pride, Glory!
