*** As you activate your datapad and press the Hapan holonet button, the image shifts to a commercial advertising for Pëlin’a©, The perfume of Princesses”. After a few seconds it ends with a “Brought to you by Black Sun Trading” message before the image shifts to the HNN logo. The beautiful news anchor of the Hapan News Network appears and smiles softly. ***

This is Xana Valqar, HNN, bringing you the latest business headlines in another episode of "Eye on the Hapan Rifle Worlds”"!

It has been a month since we last reported on the activities of StormOne Recycling and much has happened in the time since. On the moon Schoibato in the Lorell system we have seen proof of Lord Tylger’s promise to develop the moon’s surface. The concrete has been laid on the dune seas of the world and at an incredible pace we have seen the rise of high-rises, massive recycling plants, starports, parks, warehouses, skyscrapers and even the occasional religious facility. The tremendous amount of activity around the moon has caused Lorellion traffic control to set up four additional traffic lanes from the hyper exit points to Schoibato to keep the main commerce lanes to Lorell Prime from getting jammed.

Heavy cargo haulers have been coming and going, not only transferring materials to other ships, but also delivering wrecks to be processed. Among the major wrecks seen in orbit of the moon is a Trade Federation standard issue XL-7000 Battleship which was tugged in by the Tabder Heavy Hauler S1R Poseidon just three days ago and has been inspected by several small shuttle craft since. Today another wreck, which turns out to be a Mon Calamari Cruiser class 80B, was dropped off by the Tabder Heavy Hauler TFS Dwëium Darkness. StormOne Recycling’s leadership has given no clue as to how they got their hands on these vessels, but rumour has it that more vessels of similar type are underway to be recycled. Today a cargoship dropped off a shipment of brand new Salvager type ships over the recycling-moon.

We now take you live to the TFS Dwëium Darkness in orbit of Schoibato where our reporter has been given the chance to do an interview with StormOne owner, Lord Alexander Tylger, and his corporate staff.

*** The image shifts, showing the inside of an observation dome of a Tabder Heavy Hauler. By the glass walls in a large leather armchair sits Lord Alexander Tylger dressed in a black and silver outfit with a crimson cape. On his left stands his lovely C.E.O., Ellianshia Earthsong, who is wearing a white skirt and black jacket. On the right is Vice President Kimberly Tylger, dressed in a typical Hapan business suit. The reporter smiles and moves closer with her hovering camera droid before sitting down in a chair opposite of the Hapan noble. ***

“Thank you for granting us this exclusive interview, Your Excellency.”

”You are most welcome. I have always felt it is important to keep the people updated on what goes on in the Hapes Cluster.

“Can you tell us how general recycling works?”

***Lord Tylger gestures towards his youngest daughter who starts speaking softly. ***

“We transport wrecks to the surface of Schoibato and unload them in to the wastechutes located on top of our recycling plants. The garbage is sent through a variety of chambers where the different raw materials are filtered away from each other and melted down in to solid piles. After that the materials are transferred on to warehouses and silos for storage.”

“What do you do if the wreck is too large to be dumped in to the wastechute?”

”We then use our Salvagers to split the wrecks in to smaller pieces, using a focused cutting laser. We can cut even the largest capital ships in to small pieces that can be processed. They are also used to convert even functional ships, vehicles, facilities and even space stations in to wrecks that can be processed.”

“How do you determine what is actually ready for recycling and what should be repaired?”

”We generally consider a ship or entity that only has 15% of its hull integrity left to be a wreckage. It is basically beyond repair at that point and it would be cheaper to make a new one. Of course we are not always going to be dealing with damaged items. Some may want to remove an old facility to make room for new or get rid of a useless space station in orbit of their planet.”

“Splitting up a facility and moving it to your recycling plants must be a lot of effort?”

“That’s why we don’t. We use the Salvager to split up the facility, but we actually recycle it on the spot, using gigantic GRZ-6B Wrecker droids. It saves us a lot of time and needless expenses.”

“Ah, a smart solution. Now I’d like to ask you, President Earthsong, how is the general development of the company coming along?”

“It is going quite well. Our value has increased and a number of stocks have been sold on the market. The value of these have gone both up and down as all things on the market do, but we are fairly confident that once we are ready to pay our dividends, there will be an even greater interest for our shares.

“How much do you plan on paying in dividends?”

”It will really depend on our profit. A percentage of profit will be set aside to go to shareholders and they will get a sum of money according to the amount of shares that they own. However you must have a certain amount of shares to get a part of our profit. We will make an announcement when we decide to introduce this.”

“And how far along is StormOne when it comes to developing Schoibato’s surface?”

“All city foundations have been laid down and according to my latest reports, most buildings have been completed. Some of the most massive skyscrapers are still under construction, but they ought to be completed in the next weeks. We are awaiting a shipment from our sister company, the Akheton Mining Corporation, before we can start building the final few buildings.”

“That is good to hear. Now, Lord Tylger, what is your take on Archon Windcloud’s appointment to Minister of Industry and how do you feel about the Royal League of Commerce?”

*** The camera shifts towards the noble again, who grins widely. ***

“Minister Windcloud is a very capable young man. We in the Hapan leadership have watched his career with great interest. He has come a long way in a short amount of time. I suppose it must be in his genes. Considering his family’s history, a truly wonderful house by the way, he is certainly qualified for this position. It is a continuance of their legacy, no doubt. I cannot think of a better man for this job, to be honest. His Ministry will make the Royal League of Commerce run even smoother and lets us avoid all the needless paperwork and go-betweens.”

“And your opinion on the league?”

“The Royal League of Commerce was a wonderful idea. It has unified all the major players of the Hapan business world. There is interaction between the factions and we get together to discuss matters that help better the Hapan economy, as well as make things go smoother for the government. We do favours for one another without using the Consortium itself as a middleman.”

“What kind of interaction has there been between the companies? Can you give us an example?”

“Recently StormOne Recycling transported a tremendous amount of Olanji and general Hapan materials from the Akheton Mining Corporation’s headquarters on Naboo to the Lorell system. This is an example of everyone trying to pull their own weight. In exchange, Olanji’s X7 Factory “Drekker” Station was used to construct a large amount of our new Salvager class ships. Likewise the newly established Akheton Vehicle Corporation was asked to produce our wrecker droids and they were happy to assist.”

“So relations are still good between StormOne and Akheton?”

“Dverol Nact and I are still good friends and I am getting along well with the new President of his mining company; Miss Vui. She is a skilled individual and from what I can tell she is leading Akheton with the same drive that Nact did.”

”So you would say this is a good time for the Hapes Consortium and its allies?”

“No doubt, this is truly the second golden age of the Consortium and I suspect things will only get even better from now and on.”

“Thank you for your time, Lord Tylger. We hope to be hearing more from StormOne Recycling in the near future.”

*** The image fades out and Xana Valqar reappears on your screen. ***
