Near the end of the nightly news, HNN news reporter Anacia Chalcedon's expression changes from concentration to merriment. Her expression brightens and the tense atmosphere of the episode relaxes. To the right of her, an image appears depicting a tender moment between two people. The headline fades in to announce the final story of the evening.

"Before we sign off for tonight, we at the Hapan News Network would like to offer our congratulations to the Hapan Ombudsman and Royal Marine Major Tovakinpi Toshikhan and his fiancée, Rector Anya Veila of house Turner. The Major proposed to his sweetheart before a few friends and colleagues on the quiet evening of Year 11 Day 73, Hapan date. The two have yet to set a date for their nuptials but are looking to the summertime in which to celebrate. It is expected to be a fairly large wedding, as all Hapans are invited.

Sources tell us that the Rector was absolutely shocked when the Major mustered the courage to make a public proposal. Major Toshikhan - known throughout the Royal Marines to be a strong, noble, and stern man when need be - was humbled by the experience and was honest and sincere in his proposal speech. Rector Veila-Turner, was absolutely delighted, referring to her man as her "guiding star".

It is the first marriage for both, and Rector Veila-Turner assures us that it will be the one and only."

Anacia smiles warmly as the HNN theme music begins to play, signalling the end of the program.

"That's all we have for the evening, everyone. I'm Anacia Chalcedon for the Hapan News Network. Honor, Pride, and Glory!"
