HNN News Brief

Category: HNN Broadcasted on 02. June 2006 - 01:35:37hrs Author HNN News Reporter Comments: 0

During a commercial break from your regularly scheduled programming, your holoscreen changes scenes and displays the HNN logo while playing an abridged version of the popular newscast theme song. As the music fades into silence, the camera cuts to a shot of HNN news reporter Anacia Chalcedon, sitting before the familiar Hapan backdrop.

"Hello everyone, I'm Anacia Chalcedon for the Hapan News Network with a mid-day news brief," she says with a smile.

"In the recent informal arraignment of Catar Egon, formerly a Crewman of the Royal Hapan Navy, Crown Prosecutors made a motion for summary judgment. Due to the nature of the crimes and the public display involved, the courts have granted the motion for summary judgment, and have already made a decision. Catar Egon was sentenced to life in prison without possibility of parole on the charges of treason - more specifically, disloyalty to the King.

Please join us later for the rest of the day's headlines. Honor, Pride, and Glory."

Anacia smiles broadly as the news brief comes to an end.
